2.6. Resolution of images IMPORTANT
a) Digital images - most professionally printed images (magazines for example) are of a resolution of 300 dpi (Dots per inch) and computer monitors display at 72 dpi. We would prefer images that are of 300dpi but can still work with lower resolution images. An image on your monitor to you may appear to be OK but if the image is of low resolution it may not print as clearly as you may envisage (we will contact you if an image is particularly poor for our purposes). Images on screens will seem brighter than on printed material this is purely due to: on screen they are electronically displayed by the Red, Green and Blue channels of your monitor therefore quite bright and vibrant. Once printed they will not appear as bright because the paper does not reflect or emit light as a monitor does. But we strive to make them as perfect as we can. Digital photos should be supplied as JPEGS that are large enough to print at this size. The minimum we can work with is 300k file sizes but please supply the largest file size you have and one of our designers will be able to focus on the best part of your photograph. We cannot return your image CDs so please keep copies of your images on your computer.

b) Prints - calendars are 138 x 118 mm and prints should be no smaller that 6 inches by 4 inches (we will scan in free of charge!) so they are of an optimum resolution for your calendar. We will return your photgraphs with your order.
